Activities At MBM : ICC, PRATIBIMB and ALANKAAR

ICC- The Innovation and Creativity Club

This is a friendly amateur club of MBM Engineering College, and provides a platform to conduct and organise a variety of co- curricular activities

This club is presently run under the aegis of MBM Engineering College Alumni Association and aims to enhance the overall personality of a technical students.

Motivated by the then Dean, Prof. Sushil Bhandari, this club was started in the college in 1998 and quickly rose upto the level of organising National Techno - Cultural Festivals, but inevitably became dormant after a few years. The club is thankful to its various students coordinators who shaped its activities ...Rahul Mohnot, Abhishek Kumbhat, Sachin Khatri, Neeraj Nenawati,  Arun Kukkar, Mayank Gupta and so many others...(I'll keep adding the names....)

With encouragement from Er. Ravi Agarwal, President and Er. N K Kansara, Secretary, MBM Engineering College Alumni Association, the club was revived by the herculean efforts of a team lead by two students of M.B.M Engineering College - Akash Gautam and Yodhesh Chouhan in 2009-2010. They handed it over into the able hands of Parth Choudhary and Snigdha Athaiya, followed by Vivek Pareek and Vipul Ajmera. The present team includes Ashutosh Mishra, Ashima Gupta, Priya Gautam, Arvind Yadav, Bhavesh Mistry and Anuj Purohit. The club is nurturing the talent of our students and providing it a platform at various students festivals all over the country.

Initially conceptualised as technical club, it gained popularity and spread out to cover entrepreneurship and performing arts. Pratibimb is the theatre wing of the ICC.

PRATIBIMB : The Theatre Wing

A Dramatics section, named as “PRATIBIMB”. was added during the revival phase. Combined efforts of able mentors and experts like Sh. Pramod Vaishnav and dedicated team of students lead by Vivek Pareek and Abid Ali  have made Pratibimb cover several milestones.

This club aims to enhance and  stimulate the creative, emotional, political and social senses of the students by inculcating good acting, directing and writing skills. This is achieved through regular meets that constitute various sessions of exercises, games and time-to-time projects that include street plays, mimes, stage plays and workshops held by professionals. These projects give the participants a real-time experience on organising and managing events, coordinating with a team and stage and audience handling.

It is presently being run by a team of students belonging to different technical branches who undertake the task of writing directing, improvising as well as organising and managing all club activities like finance and memberships. One of the most important objectives of this club is to increase the visibility of issues of pivotal social and educational importance, in the campus.

The club has a web presence at https://www.facebook.com/groups/562714807107444/

With all due love and divine efforts, the literature club of I.C.C(Innovation & Creativity Club) of M.B.M Engineering College,Alankaar"अलंकार" breathed life into penned feelings of many students in its first  काव्य गोष्ठी "अनकहे नगमे"   which was held on 08-04-2015 (wednesday) successfully.

The chief guest of the programme was Mr Rahul Gupta ,fine artist and eloquent writer of serving JDA and alumni of M.B.M Engineering College. This programme was held under the able guidance of the ex-convenors  of the club,Vivek Pareek and Atul  Jain, who showed the path and with their presence enlightened the upcoming poets.
